Prošlog vikenda, NVO je organizovala besplatan medicinski kamp u [Ime Zajednice], pružajući ključne zdravstvene usluge za više od 500 osoba koje često nemaju pristup odgovarajućoj medicinskoj njezi.
Uz podršku lokalnih doktora, medicinskih sestara i volontera, kamp je pružio opšte zdravstvene preglede, vakcinacije, prenatalnu njegu i zdravstveno obrazovanje—sve besplatno. Lijekovi su distribuirani onima kojima su najpotrebniji, a posebna pažnja posvećena je ranjivim grupama kao što su djeca, trudnice i stariji ljudi.
“In many remote areas, people don’t have the means or transportation to reach a clinic,” said Petar Petrovic, who coordinated the event. “This camp brought healthcare to their doorstep, and the response was overwhelming.”
Health workers also offered group sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care—empowering people with the knowledge to make healthier choices in daily life.
This effort was part of our Healthy Communities Initiative, aimed at closing the gap in healthcare access and raising awareness about preventable diseases.
Looking Ahead:
Following the success of this event, we plan to host similar outreach camps in three more villages by the end of the year. We’re also exploring partnerships to provide ongoing telehealth support in the region.
