Pristup čistoj vodi je osnovno ljudsko pravo, ali milioni ljudi širom svijeta još uvijek žive bez nje. U NVO, posvećeni smo tome da promijenimo ovu stvarnost, jednu zajednicu po jednu. Kroz naš projekat “Čista voda za sve”, radimo na tome da osiguramo da svaka osoba, bez obzira na lokaciju, ima pristup sigurnoj, čistoj vodi za piće.
Our Approach
In partnership with local communities, governments, and organizations, we focus on sustainable water solutions that address both immediate needs and long-term sustainability. Our approach includes:
- Building Wells and Boreholes: We work with engineers and local teams to design and implement deep wells, hand-pumped boreholes, and rainwater harvesting systems that provide communities with reliable sources of water.
- Water Purification and Filtration: In areas where water quality is poor, we provide water purification systems to ensure clean, safe drinking water.
- Education and Training: We educate communities on water management and sanitation practices, teaching individuals how to maintain systems and ensure clean water is used effectively.
Impact So Far
Since the launch of the Clean Water for All project in 2023, we’ve successfully implemented 10 water systems across Montenegro, benefiting over 10000 individuals. In addition to providing clean water, our efforts have led to improvements in health, hygiene, and education, with children missing fewer days of school due to waterborne illnesses and families spending less time collecting water.
Our Goals for the Future
- Expansion: We aim to expand our reach, providing clean water to an additional 5 communities in the next 10 years.
- Sustainability: We will continue to train local leaders and ensure communities are equipped to maintain their water systems long into the future.
- Health and Hygiene: In the coming year, we plan to launch a health education campaign to teach sanitation practices alongside our water access initiatives, improving community health even further.
